Eden

  HOME

Windswept

Atmosphere blue and gray,

The haze that fell upon the day

Shadows cast by wandering cloud,

Sun shower rainbow, bold and proud

Sunlight glistens on wet trees,

The wind sweeps up old leaves with ease

On strange days that feel unreal,

Abstract thought the mind will steal

Warmed by sun, yet chilled by breeze,

Mixed weather all the senses tease

Sunshine, wind, cloud and rain,

All hope I walk the like again

Daffodil trumpets herald spring,

Frisky birds their love songs sing

Blue bells carpet the forest floor,

Still the snow drops in galore

Of four seasons here the first,

New life born, of mother earth
